1. General
1.1 The General Terms and Conditions of apply to all the offers, orders, products, agreements and deliveries of THE JAMES. By ordering a product you agree to these conditions.
1.2 THE JAMES is registered under the Amsterdam Chamber of Commerce: 87821281 | VAT number: NL864416660B01
2. Agreement and Order
2.1 The agreement becomes binding at the time you place your order in the online order form. After payment is complete, THE JAMES will process your order. Until that time THE JAMES remain full owner of the products in your order.
2.2 To confirm your order, you will receive an e-mail on the email address that you provided during Check Out.
2.3 Images from the website can be slightly different from reality, and of the received product. Most of the products are handmade from all over the world and sometimes your product can show a little difference then on the picture. If a product does not match your expectations, you can return the product within 14 days (see article 6 Returns), but cannot cause a claim.
2.4 All prices of the items are displayed in EURO, include 21% Dutch VAT but exclude any shipping costs on orders. Shipping costs will be calculated during check out.
2.5 THE JAMES has the right to change text and images on the website, without giving notice first.
2.6 If an item from your order has gone out of stock, you’ll receive a message about this immediately.
2.7 Only one discount code can be used per purchase, unless THE JAMES explicitly indicates that discount codes can be combined.
3. Payment and Payment options
3.1 By THE JAMES you can choose to pay within the following payments methods; IDEAL, Apple Pay, Maestro, Mastercard and VISA.
3.2 If THE JAMES accidentally indicates the incorrect price on the website (clearly a mistake) we have the right to modify. Also if you have purchased the article yet.
3.3 Creditcard details (such as creditcard number, expire date etc.) will be automatically handed over via a secured and encrypted system to the payment company without any notice by THE JAMES. Even in case of restitution your creditcard details are not visible.
Shipping and Delivery
4.1 Delivery Options: A. Pick up at THE JAMES Store | Warmoesstraat 24, Haarlem. B. Delivery to home adress.
4.2 Shipping Costs: THE JAMES may charge shipping costs based on order weight and delivery location. Costs are calculated at checkout based on location.
4.3 International Orders: For non-EU orders, contact us for shipping options. Customs duties are the receiver's responsibility.
4.4 Additional Costs: Misaddressed or missed deliveries incur extra charges.
4.5 Timely Delivery: THE JAMES will have 2 delivery pick ups per week. Order will be handed over to the courier on Tuesday and Friday. We aim for 3-4 working days delivery. We'll notify if any delays occur.
**Payment Methods
5.1 Secure Payment: Choose from iDeal, PayPal, Credit Card, and more. Pay on pickup is also available.
**Returns and Exchanges
6.1 14-Day Return Policy: Items returnable in original condition within 14 days. We refund/exchange, excluding return shipping.
6.2 Exchange Process: Exchanges made after original item return and check. Customer covers replacement shipping.
6.3 Made-to-Order Items: Non-refundable, but receive a gift card of original value.
6.4 Return Address: THE JAMES Returns & Exchanges, Warmoesstraat 24, 2011 HP Haarlem, returning parckages will be handled via Myparcel.
6.5 Refund Process: Approved returns refunded to the original payment method.
**7. Warranty
7.1 30-Day Warranty: Covered for 30 days from the invoice date.
7.2 Warranty Options: Reparation, Replacement, or Restitution.
7.3 Restitution Process: Refund within 14 working days.
7.4 Replacement/Repair Timeline: Up to 14 working days.
7.5 Guarantee Exclusions: Defects due to misuse or alteration.
**8. Copyright
8.1 Copyrighted Photos and Images: Unauthorized reproduction and public use prohibited.
**9. Dispute
9.1 Governed by Dutch Law: All legal relationships exclusively governed by Dutch law.
